Adult Swim

PMP holds a 10-minute adult swim session for the last 10 minutes of every hour to give Lifeguards a break. During this time, all children under 16 must exit the pool immediately unless they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who remains in the pool and is always within arm's reach of them. Please note that lifeguards are not on duty during adult swim. Additionally, children are not allowed to jump into the pool until adult swim ends. Adult swim ends when the lifeguard on duty blows their whistle and announces the start of the kid swim session.

No Lifeguard

No lifeguards on duty on weekdays when Greenville County School is in session. Members who choose to attend during these days will swim at their own risk.

Responsibility

Members and their guests use the pool at their own risk. The pool is not responsible for any personal injury or loss of or damage to personal property. Any damage to the pool property caused by a member or their guest will be charged to the responsible member.

Guest Policy

Residents who live in PMP neighborhoods are not allowed to attend PMP as guests. All guests must be accompanied by an active member in good standing. Residents of Greenville County may attend as guests by paying the guest fees, $5 per person or $15 for a family of 4. Memberships are per household, and children or grandchildren of the household may attend with their grandparents or caregivers without paying the guest fee. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that their guest(s) check-in, sign a guest waiver, pay the guest fees, and behave responsibly. Guest fees are paid in the guest fee box located on the lifeguard desk. No member may bring more than 6 guests at a time without prior notice to the board or party reservation.

Checking in at PMP

Members use a key fob that PMP provides after members have paid their membership dues. This access control offers security to our members and keeps non-paying members out. We ask members not to hold open the entrance gate for individuals trying to gain access. Please let our lifeguards assist these individuals. To open the entrance gate, scan your key fob and the magnetic gate will open. To exit the pool, press the push-to-exit button located on the blue column pool in front of the gate.

Key Fob Policy

PMP will provide the first key fob to all members. A second key fob can be purchased for $10 in the website shop. Only 2 active key fobs per household. Replacement of lost or stolen key fob will cost $20. For new members, a key fob pick-up date will be announced before opening day. Existing members are asked to keep their key fobs during the off-season.

Concessions

PMP Concessions provides a diverse range of snacks, drinks, and frozen delights that are available for purchase. The list of items and their respective prices are displayed on the concession door. Members are not allowed to enter the concession room without approval. If the concession is unmanned, please approach the lifeguard for assistance in making a purchase. The best time to buy from the concession is during adult swim. We accept cash and Venmo.

Bathrooms

Members are responsible for leaving the restrooms in the same condition they were found in. Kindly clean up after yourself, and if you find the bathrooms to be inappropriate, please inform one of our lifeguards. To prevent clogging the system, please avoid flushing anything other than toilet paper. Personal hygiene items, as well as diapers, should be wrapped or covered and properly disposed of in the trash receptacle. To keep the bathrooms sanitary for everyone, please always remember to flush toilets and dispose of used items in the trash receptacles.

Early Lap Swim with a Buddy

This program is open to members who want to swim laps before PMP opens from Mondays to Saturdays, 6am to 10am. Solo swimming is NOT allowed per DHEC regulations. This is a swim-at-your-own-risk program and is exclusively open to PMP members. No guests are allowed. Participants must be PMP Members 18 years or older and must be accompanied by another PMP Member 18 years or older. The lap pool is the only pool open for this program. However, the swim team has priority to use the lap pool for practice from 8:30am to 10am (see Events for complete practice schedule). In such cases, members can use the shallow end of the L-shaped pool to swim laps (the deep end area is closed). Note that bathrooms will be closed during this time. Members will scan the key fob reader at the entrance gate to enter and exit the pool. For safety reasons, the exit button is turned off outside operation hours. Members who want to join this program should email pmpswimclub@gmail.com to request access. PMP will send an email confirmation once key fob access has been added.
